Journey's 2nd birthday party

Today we celebrated Journey's 2nd birthday with a bunch of friends and family at Chick Fil A. We had a total blast! The theme was farm to go with the whole Chick Fil A theme. The kids all came in and got to plant their own vegetables in their own cups that they decorated. They later could have their face painted, play with farm puzzles, or a farm bean bag game. I had also set up a table for them to color on, not to mention the big indoor playyard too. The kids all got a chicken strip kids meal along with their cupcake (made by me) and an ice cream cone. They all got to take home a pig or cow chocolate pop (made by me), a mini cow, a balloon and a cow bell. Amongst all the goodies and fun, I would have to say all the kids had a blast:)

I made the bottom cake out of white cake with pineapple cheesecake filling and the barn was chocolate cake with bavarian cream with fresh strawberries. I didnt have any since I had horrible allergies, nothing tasted right, but according to all, it was delicious:)

This was the coloring table. I surrounded the table with paper and the kids were able to color away.

The fun table. The kids got to decorate their own cups and then pot their own vegetables to take home. There was face painting, puzzles and a bean bag game, along with the huge play yard inside.

Love this picture. After the kids enjoyed their kids meal and then their cupcakes, they had some ice cream. Kayleigh and her friend Paige went to their own barstools, sat down and started talking over their ice cream. Brent calls it a mini Shannon and mini Jacque:)
