Birthday Parties in September

The month of September was busy with birthday parties and a wedding. First was one of my best friends grand daughters birthday, she turned one. It was a blast, it was a cupcake theme, they had yummy food, cupcakes and a pinata. I couldnt believe that Kayleigh hit the pinata for the first time in her life. She is usually too shy. Then it was my friends sons first birthday. They had a sports themed birthday with TONS of yummy food and a beautiful cake made by the birthday boys Aunt. It was a blast as well. The kids got to do the slip and slide, which they loved, eat tons of food and just play like kids do. Then we celebrated Brents birthday along with one of my other best friends birthday, Kristina. I made them an ice cream cake made with home made chocolate peanut butter ice cream and chocolate peanut butter buttercream. It was super yummy and of course it was in the shape of a hockey puck:) It was a busy month but loads of fun!

Hooray for my husband!

My husband finally got a promotion!! We have been praying about this for a few years now and it never went through. Funny how the Lord works, we would always see why a couple weeks after his interviews why God shut those doors, and boy was it a good thing every time! This time when he was told that upper management wanted to interview him for another position, we just prayed for Gods hand to be in this decision and that was it. We didn't pray for him to get the promotion, just for Him to have His hand all over it! Amazing! He got the position as a small business specialist and they are moving him to a branch closer to home. So excited! I will get my husband for more time and he wont have to work as many Saturdays. So congratulations to my awesome husband for working so hard and being such a great husband, provider and father:)
