Kayleigh has been diagnosed
Last week, I took Kayleigh to a psychologist to get her diagnosed. I thought she had ADHD and wanted to get her diagnosed so I could get the right parenting skills for her and she could have some sort of behavioral therapy. Well the session went the way I thought it would, she had a Kayleigh tantrum and the psychologist came out of the room and told me that she had ODD and possibly ADHD as well. When I went home to research it, it was Kayleigh all the way. She had every symptom of ODD. The internet said that ODD is usually accompanied with ADHD. So there it is. Brent and I will undergo parenting classes for ODD kids as well as Kayleigh will undergo behavioral therapy. We caught it right in time, before she got older and could develop into something worse. Prayers are needed so please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. It will be a difficult road ahead.

Happy Birthday Job!
Happy Birthday to our little Angel, Job! Job would have been 3 years old today. We are so blessed that the Lord had chosen us to be his parents. Although it was the most difficult thing Brent and I have ever had to endure, we know the Lord chose us for a reason. It made Brent and I even stronger in our marriage and our family closer. I know Job is looking down on all of us waiting for our arrival so that we can one day be reunited. I can't wait for that day! Job changed our lives in more ways than one. I miss him every day and think of him numerous times daily. We don't have 4 kids, we have 5! I love you very much Job and look forward to being together again. Happy Birthday and have a great party up there in heaven with our Lord and Savior and all our family members who loved you as well. I am sure the birthday cakes where you are Rock and are much more yummy than here, so eat up:) Love You:)

What a strange day!
Ok so I was cleaning house getting ready to go away for Big Bear when the phone rang. Weird it was Jordan's paternal grandmother, whom I haven't heard or seen from in about 5 years. They were in town and wanted to see Jordan. They felt guilty that they never developed a relationship with Jordan and wanted to do so now. Jordan of course didn't want to go, but I thought it would be good for him. His grandparents came over with Rene, his birth father, whom we haven't seen or heard from in about 3 years. It was a really nice visit. The tension, anger, and everything else involved with Rene is no longer there. We talked as old friends and geniunely cared about what was going on in one another's lives. We had a great visit with his Grandmother, his Grandfather is semi deaf and well...he doesn't speak English. I always thought Jordan was 1/4 Mexican and 1/4 Spanish, but I was wrong. His grandparents are both full blood Mexican, so Jordan is 1/2 Mexican....go figure! Anyways, it was really sweet when Jordan's grandfather gave him a hug and told him in sign language "Your grandpa loves you". Although they haven't been around in 5 years or really had any part of Jordan's entire life, it was nice to have that moment. I hope they continue the relationship and contact. They do live in Texas so seeing him will be hard, but phone calls and mail are always a good start. Jordan is out to dinner with them now and who knows what else they will do, but I can't wait to hear about his night out with his grandparents and Rene.

Birthday planning
I am having so much fun planning Kayleigh and Trinity's wedding themed birthday party. I handmade some invitations that are getting hand delivered to her little friends. Right now I am in the process of trying to find a cotton candy machine to buy, but it isn't looking to good right now, so it looks like we might have to rent one, but I am debating on that one since it isn't cheap at all! I bought all their decorations, including the cake toppers, and the favors. Still need to work on the activities. It looks like it will be for sure face painting and I am thinking of bouquet making out of tissue paper (saw something on line for that). Animal balloon making is an idea as well. So much I want to do, but can always leave some for the birthday party next year:) I love when the girls have birthdays. Jordan's aren't as fun anymore since they aren't themed. One of my closest friends calls me a "party whore". I hate to admit to the term, but she is right! I am a party whore and proud of it:) You got a party to invite me to, I will most likely be there unless for some dire reason I cannot. Especially christmas parties, can't get enough of those!

Sick Again!
Mother's Day was awesome! Brent let me sleep in til 9:30 am oh my gosh was it wonderful:) He changed all the diapers and entertained the kids. He even took all 4 kids to his parents and hung out there for about 3 hours. It was so peaceful, why don't we get mother's day more than once per year? But I was sick and had body aches all day. I woke up in the middle night with a weird feeling in my throat. It felt like one side of my throat was closed up so I went to the doctors this morning. They checked me out and said I had strep throat and the culture came back virul. I feel fine other than the congestion and throat thing. I occassionally get body aches, but in all honestly I have to ignore them and get my house super clean for a little get together with couples I have never met coming to my house for dinner tomorrow. I would love to cancel but we have been planning this for months. So I am trying to get better and praying for a better and energizing day tomorrow:P

Planning a wedding birthday party
So I am planning Kayleigh and Trinity's birthday party that is coming up in a month. I lagged on Jordan's but pulled it off pretty well. Now I am trying to pull my life together to plan this wedding themed birthday party. I have already prepared my evite invitations but need to print off the ones I am going to hand deliver. Wouldn't be a real wedding without actual invitations, so I decided to hand off real ones to her little friends. I already bought all the place settings and decorations and the favors. My mother in law will be making the wedding cakes, one for each girl. All I really need to do is finish the invites and make a veil for Kayleigh. I want to have a couple activities for the kids so I am trying to get that all together as well. I can't wait for their wedding:)

Celebrating Jordan and Jared's 13th birthday!
We celebrated Jordan and Jared's (Jordan's BFF) 13th birthday yesterday with all their friends. What a blast! First they played basketball then we headed down to Esperanza High School to play flag football. Jared's team won, how...no clue since Jordan and one of his friends, Frankie, play on a flag football team together:) After football, they headed back up to the house for food and to watch some TV basketball. Then outside for more basketball. They would have played longer if we didn't call them in for ice cream and cake. After that, they played MORE basketball and then in to finish watching basketball and to play around. The party went from 2 pm to 11 pm! Boy...were Jacque and I beat! The girls had fun as well, they played with the boys and bugged them:)

Kayleigh putting the candles on the cake. She had a blast!

Kayleigh, Jordan and Jared. Kayleigh had to pose with her big brother and her boyfriend:) Sorry Jared, you are her true love:)

The boys blowing their candles out together.

Picture of all the boys together..we were missing a couple at this point. They went home early.

Jordan loving the gift he received from Jared that he wanted so bad, a basketball book:O What is it with basketball?

Jared opening his gift from us. A beautiful tiger shirt, isn't it gorgeous!?:) LOL, this was his gag gift and he seriously thought it was our birthday gift to him, it was hilarious. I had him going for a couple of minutes and the boy did good to act like he liked it, until I told him he didn't have to pretend anymore, it was a joke. He was embarrassed but so happy at the same time. We got him an Iverson Piston jersey. His favorite player.

This is me of course laughing so hard at Jared thinking he had to enjoy his "Eye of the Tiger" shirt:) Please ignore the pregnancy weight:( I am trying to lose it as we speak. Isn't little Journey cute sitting on my lap:)

Trinity in her diapers having fun crawling all over the couches. She had to be dog tired at this time, it was about 10 pm.
