Linkous Update

Well Journey was in the hospital for 10 days! A very long and boring time. The doctor at CHOC hospital finally called in a pulmonologist on Day 7 of our stay and unofficially "diagnosed" Journey as asthmatic. They ordered a nebulizer for us to take home and for her to be on oral steroids as well. Day 10, Journey was doing awesome! So since being home, Journey has breathing treatments twice a day with steroids and when she gets any signs of sickness we are too give her additional breathing treatments with Albuterol. Playing catch up has not been fun. The doctors recommended that I dust everything, steam clean the carpets and so forth. I have done pretty much everything other than the carpets. Journey was doing well but is sick again. Today she ran a 102.7 temp and is now on the Albuterol treatments every 4 hours including her twice a day steroid breathing treatments.
Jordan has been doing awesome on both of his basketball teams. Next weekend is our championship game for one team and I am pretty sure we will be in the championship game for his school league. They were undefeated until last week. Jordan is amazing at basketball and I love to watch him play. Fortanetly Jordan has been scholorshipped in on his club soccer team for Spring which is wonderful. God blessed us in that, for we were going to have to throw in the towel on soccer, just can't afford club.
Kayleigh is doing amazing. We have learned our abc's and our trying to master them at writing. Since we have conquered the ODD, we are now focusing on her academics. She is behind, but now that I can deal with the ODD the academics will be a breeze. She is very smart. I have been taking her to a preschool class, free too, every Monday. She has learned a lot and is having tons of fun.
Trinity is too darn cute. We are fully potty train, other than at night, and is talking so much. She has been learning her abc's and is pretty darn smart for her age.
I am staying busy and so is Brent. I have been planning Journey's birthday party. Polka dots this year. The things I come up with amaze me:) I have so many polka dots, my house will look like it has a disease. I am in the process of planning Kayleigh and Trinity's party as well. We are going with Island Princess, which of course is no longer made, so bidding on ebay is my life right now. It is driving me crazy! Brent is still working for Chase and keeping pretty busy. He starts playing in his basketball league pretty soon. Great for fellowship, keeping him in shape and getting his anger out:)
