Jordan turns 13!!!

Can you believe I have a teenager in my house? Jordan turned 13 on April 25th. My parents came down to spend some time with him and take him out to the restaurant of his pick. He decided on Johnny Rebbs in Orange. What a great and quaint place. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. The great thing about it is there birthday celebration. If you know Jordan, he is VERY shy and he hates it when people sing Happy Birthday to him. Did I care?...No Way! I told the server it was his birthday and him and a bunch of other servers came to our table. He put a cowboy hat on Jordan's head and sang Happy Birthday to him, then they had him get in front of the whole restaurant and had them say Happy Birthday with a Yee Haw, which they all did. Then they had him kiss a pig statutes butt for good luck and then had him do the chicken dance while stomping on peanuts. It was so hilarious I literally had tears streaming down my face. Jordan couldn't get in his seat fast enough. He was so embarrassed. He now wants to take his best friend there who turns 13 in 2 weeks to have him embarrassed. Wendy...if you read this no telling Jared, it is something we are thinking of doing and if we do, we want it to be a surprise:) This weekend we are having a birthday party combined with his best friend.

Priceless Moments:)

Daddy did Trinity's hair. The bad part was he put gel in and we had somewhere to go that day. She had a mohawk everywhere we went:)

Daddy and Journey. Daddy is going to eat here and she awaits with anticipation:P The look on her face is so sweet.

Jordan reading to Trinity. At first Trinity listened intensly then she kept lowering the book since she couldn't see the TV:) The girl does love to read though!

Lately I have been posting a lot on facebook since tons of people I went to High School with are no finally on it, so I have neglected my blog. Things have been fine on this end. Journey is getting better but is still very congested. She has 4 more days on antibiotics so hopefully she will be 100% by then. Trinity is still sick too and if it isn't gone by Monday, we are going to the doctorss. I don't want to chance her getting pneumonia again. Jordan is almost done with school, maybe another week or two and we should be finished, yay!! He turns 13 tomorrow, oh my gosh, a teenager will be living in our home! The teenager years are rough, they have an attitude to go with the mouth! Brent is doing well at the bank, he would love to transfer out of his branch one day to be closer to home. He is also referring on weekends which is good second source of income for us. As for me, trying to stay sane. It has been rough with 3 little ones and homeschooling and trying to keep the house in order. I hope to come through it with flying colors. It seems like I clean daily, change about 100 diapers a day, nursing every hour, and homeschooling somehow, plus trying to get all the doctors, dentits, and hair appointments in along with Jordan's sport schedule. So tired:P Anyways, I am trying to plan Jordan's 13th birthday party for next weekend, I am lagging. He combines it every year with his best friend. We usually do a sleepover, but this year they are too big so we are just doing a party. Kayleigh and Trinity's is also coming up so I am trying to plan that. Guess what theme Kayleigh wants....A Wedding!! No joke. She wants a pink and purple wedding. White tablecloths with pink and purple plates. She wants to wear a wedding dress and for her prince to come. She will get all her heart desires, but the Prince:)

Pics of Journey

Hope you enjoy pics of our little one!
I forgot to post as well that Journey will be 7 weeks on Monday and she is already sick! On Friday I took her to the doctors for what I thought was just a cold and it turned out to be Bronchitis. So our little one is on antibiotics and is doing well. She doesn't sleep well, but she is getting better so hopefully soon sleep will be in the cards. I did get 6 hours last night, not in a row, but total, which was better that the only 2 from the night before!

NOW everyone is pregnant!

You know I always had this vision of being pregnant with one of my friends at the same time so that we could go through all the trials of pregnancy together and then our kids to grow up close with each other. Well, that never happens, 3 kids later it has yet to happen. Except for of course Mandy...yes we were pregnant together, in fact our two little girls are only 3 weeks apart, however she lives 7 hours away so I couldn't hang with her and our little girls won't be as close as I would like. Although it will be a blast sharing birthday ideas and growing pains with each other, and of course we will see each occassionally, right:)? So now I have my precious Journey, possibly our last child, so all visions are out. Now 4 of my friends, that I know of, are pregnant, all within a few months of each other. Wendy due September 11th, Alison due September 15th, Lori Due October 11th, and now Lichelle due around Thanksgiving. So Lori and Lichelle, not exactly nearby, but Wendy and Alison I have high hopes for our children being close friends. Especially you, my dear Wendy. With your mom and I being as close of friends as we are and your brother and Jordan being the friends they are, I would hope Journey and your peanut will be close too:) I have hope right?:) Sorry I had to bore you all, but I had to share my frustrations:) Now instead of weddings to go to, which you all know I LOVE and MISS, I have baby showers.

Disneyland Days

Below are some pics of the past few times we have been to Disneyland.
I was of course pregnant in this pic and Kayliegh was not wanting her picture taken.

Jordan and Trinity. Jordan looks a little tired here.
Trinity playing in the water at California Adventure. She was so soaked afterwards! But she had a great time. Below are pics of all three girls passed out cold after a day at Disneyland. Jordan of course was still awake, so there was no need to take a picture of him:)

First week of Journey

I finally got Brent to load the pictures of Journey onto the computer. These are pictures from the first week of Journey's life.

Grandma giving Journey her first bath after the hospital. She didn't really like it at all.

Journey had jaundice pretty bad so they had machines sent to us instead of having her admitted to the hospital, which was much better for us. We called her our little E.T. she glowed blue. The first picture are the machines they sent to us and the other picture is what Journey looked like with the lights on her. Unless she was eating, Journey had to be under the lights.

Grandma giving Journey her first bath. Can you tell how yellow she was from the jaundice. I couldn't believe how jaundice she was. Jordan, Kayleigh and Trinity all had jaundice but not nearly as bad as Journey had it.

Trinity holding her baby sister. She just loves to hold her. It was way easier though when she was little. Now that she has grown some, Trinity has a hard time.

My 3 beautiful little girls. I love how Journey and Trinity are looking at each other. Isn't it just too cute?:)
Those are just a few pictures we have taken of Journey. I will post some more through out the week. Times have been busy with 3 little ones and homeschooling Jordan, plus on top of cleaning the house, cooking and doing all the doctors, dentists and other appointments. I am having difficulty just making it to the store for food. Hopefully today I will be able to, but unfortanetly Jordan's grades are do today and I haven't even done them yet! Which means I should probably get off the blog and get started:)

What an amazing church!

I have to share just because it makes me so happy inside. Last night Brent and I attended an event at our church to celebrate Passover. A Jewish man turned Christian gave a presentation of how the Jewish celebrate Passover and how it relates to Christ in so many ways. It was amazing to see how everything they did was in rememberance of Christ, however they do not believe that the Messiah has come yet. Anyways, we sat at our Homebuilders Leaders table (a married couple's bible study) and come to find out Brent plays basketball with another gentleman at our table. Then we saw a few other couples we knew and Brent talked with another fellow basketball player. It felt so good to FINALLY be connected in a church socially. I have never gone to a church where I met people and built an actual "real" relationship with them. The funny thing is, they are all at least 35 and older. No one really our age goes to any events, I don't know why but they don't. But I am ok with that, they are older, wiser and much more relaxed in life. Besides most of my friends are older than me and I like it. When I need advice I can call out to them, and all the times I get awesome advice. So I just wanted to share my joy!
