Yesterday was Trinity and Kayleighs birthday party. We had 17 kids! As soon as everyone showed up I had all the kids do crafts. They decorated visors and then made their own bubble wands out of straws. I had premade some bubble solution for them. After craft time, I gave them time to play in the kiddie pool where there were mini beach balls that they could take home and a bubble pool and a sand box. During this time I made snow cones for all the kids and of course adults. I purchased a snow cone machine from Costco and it turned out to be an awesome machine. After that we played hot potato but this time with a little spin on the game. There was a water balloon in the potato and when the game went off the balloon would splash on them. The kids had a great time at this one. After that it was free for all water balloon fight. Of course again a winner! After this we had an hour and a half of swim time with MANY toys. We had pool noodles, kick boards, sponge bombs (that they got to take home), the mini beach balls, diving sticks, water guns, a huge waterwheel, 2 caterpillars to sit on, an inter tube, a giraffe inter tube and many others. After that the kids got out, against their will of course, to have some piñata fun. To catch their candy I gave them all a sand pail and of course they got to take that home too. Then it was cake. I had made Trinity an under the sea cake that was chocolate with nutella cream cheese filling, super yummy and Kayleigh was a sand castle that was white cake with banana cream and fresh bananas. According to a lot of people it was the best cake ever:) I also made cupcakes, strawberry lemonade and also oreo cookie. I was tired and ready to go home. They all got favor bags, which had a mermaid I made, a finger puppet that I made, a m&m fish bowl, marshmallow chocolate pop, otter pop holder I made with an otter pop. Along with that they took home their sand pail, mini beach ball, sponge bomb, visors, bubble solution and visors. All the kids had a great time, and the parents were asking me when I would be planning my next event:)

Kayleighs cake I made white cake with banana cream and fresh bananas. Everyone said this was the best ever cake they have tasted. My mother in law even called me to say it was amazing!
